This is japanese style, non-bacon. I got it thinking it would be a better deal, but just get the Jones dry age bacon if you are looking for american style. This doesn't even come close. You also get something like 40 slices of the thinnest ham that won't get crispy or even melt off much fat. I think this would be fine in Okonomiyaki but not a good american breakfast substitute.
